I’m grateful for the gifts that come from being me. I am uniquely me. I was born to be the exact person that I am. I was born with the wisdom of the Universe living inside of me just like everyone else. I see the world through my own perspectives of truth, which makes the way I share my stories uniquely mine. I take in the world through the lens of my own personal stories, and project out to the world through that same lens. I can change and grow out of lenses that no longer work for me, and I can clean and refurbish as needed by changing my stories. Understanding stories are based on how we align with love, abundance, and peace or fear, lack, and separation has guided me to live my life the way that I do. My unique way of living and being offers many gifts, both for myself and others. Others don’t have to accept me, how I live, what I say, the things I do as gifts, that is their journey. I can only live the perspectives of truth that feel right to me, and I see my life experiences as gifts.
I want you to take a close look at this picture. This dog has three legs. He was running on the beach and playing fetch with his owner. His tail was wagging endlessly as he enjoyed living in the moment. I was so moved by this dog’s unique and beautiful way of doing things. It reminded me that each life, no matter how many trials and tribulations offers tremendous gifts if we are willing to see them — I AM! I could have chosen many different stories to tell about this dog and his circumstances, but I CHOOSE to see the love and the joy. I choose to let this dogs joy permeate through me. I received a gift from just watching the dog be who he is. I might not have noticed the dog the way I did if he looked and acted like the other dogs. This experience took me inward and tapped into Universal messages of love and authentic joy.
Each time I’m willing look at what I’m carrying inside me, I receive a gift. I accept the gift when I receive it from a place of love, abundance, and peace. However I show up in someone else’s life offers them a gift to look within themselves. Seeing the world through this lens helps me to see opportunities where before I might have felt victimized, trapped, or lost in the chaos from the energy of fear, lack, and separation.
I think about what it took for me to see how much I self-abused. I remember asking God, “Why does this keep happening to me? Are you punishing me? Do you not think I’m worthy of love? Am I really that bad of a person that I deserve this kind of treatment?” I was pretty thick-headed at the time to see how I was treating myself. It took me many years to see that how I was being treated was a reflection of how I treated myself. I would stay, because the messages I was getting matched what the unhealed parts of me that were repeating on loop internally. I covered my pain with positivity, so I missed how messed up the deeper messages were. I didn’t see the layers of shame, guilt, rage, and hate bubbling under the surface. I was given gifts to show me the answers I asked. That is what got me out of my own way and opened the door for me to take charge of my life. I took responsibility for living the definition of love in my life. Now, I get ample opportunities to give and receive love. I’m treated with love and respect, because I have very clear boundaries and communication skills to let people know what is acceptable and unacceptable for me. I’m so grateful that I’m finally at a place where I love and accept myself exactly as I am, because now I get to enjoy being me, which makes it much easier to give from a loving place.
Today, I commit to honoring the gifts that come from being me. I was born into a soul already full of Universal wisdom. When I allow my authentic self to shine, the wisdom my soul projects out and reflects back in the people around me. The beauty is when two people share their authentic selves, we tap into Universal wisdom together. You know those moments where you have conversations that give you goosebumps, chills, or a warming sensation? I LOVE THOSE. I see those energy exchanges as some of the most wonderful gifts.
When I chose to see and honor the gifts that came from simply being me, I got to truly live in awareness and abundance of all the AMAZING gifts we each offer each other. Gifts are seeds. We can only ever plant and nurture seeds in our own gardens. I see the importance of looking carefully at what I want living in my garden. I can transmute a seed of hate with love by aligning my energy with love, abundance, and peace. I can give others roses or weeds as a gift that they will choose to do with what they want. I try to give more of what offers beauty and wisdom, but I’m not going to say I don’t still have unhealed parts of me that offer some weeds. If I discover that is what I passed, I let the people I passed it to know.
The way I see it is we offer a person a gift the second they choose to judge us and/or we choose to judge them, however we are judging each other. Our judgments (interpretations) of others show us where we are, not where the person we are judging is. Are we judging through a lens of love, abundance, and peace or fear, lack, and separation? Universal wisdom comes from the energy of love, abundance, and peace. If that is not what I’m projecting out in my thoughts of others, I’m not in that energy. I can feel the difference inside of me, which developed after I stopped self-abusing and started seeing the gifts that came from being me. When I operate from that energy is when I feel like I have the most to offer.
I’m grateful I have the opportunity to give and receive gifts by simply being me. Each day I’m alive I have ample opportunities to offer gifts just by doing whatever it is I choose to do. I get to make choices in how I want to pass on the gifts. I used to pass on my gifts unconsciously, which means I was left making a lot of amends. Now, I still make amends, but the amends becomes a part of the gift as soon as I spot how I aligned with fear, lack, and separation in my actions or reactions. I also get the opportunity to share from the place that I’ve gotten really comfortable, which is in the energy of love, abundance, and peace. I love the gifts that I offer myself and others from this place just by projecting how I’m living inside.
How we see ourselves is the amount of light we have to offer the world. The more we accept and embrace our own journeys, the more we see our purpose. It’s not in all our outer accomplishments and stuff, it’s about what we have to give the core of who we are. That’s the place where we can tap into the purest wisdom there is. The only time I’m able to truly appreciate and see the wisdom clearly is when I’m in the energy of love, abundance, and peace. All it takes is to love and respect myself as I do anyone else and I’m instantly thinking, feeling, speaking, and doing from the healthiest part of my being.
With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
