Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #295

I’m grateful for the symbolic meaning of rocks. For me, rocks represent stability, grounding, and immovable truths. When I consider stability, I think about the life of a rock. A rock lasts the test of time, which is why cairns (man-made rock stacks) are used as navigational tools for trails. When I need a grounding thought, I think about smooth and shiny rocks. They have gotten tumbled and knocked around to be that smooth and shiny. It reminds me that surviving all the traumas, getting the help to smooth my sharp edges, and keep working through it all is apart of what makes me shine the way I do today. I didn’t run from being tumbled. Smooth and shiny rocks remind me to face the hard stuff and feel my way through it. When I need a reminder of an immovable truth, I think of a mountain of rock. Despite the rain, sleet, snow, tornadoes, and hurricanes, the mountain stands solid. They do not fight for the truth of who they are, they stand in it. Who they are is clear. When I stand in my truth, who I am is clear.

I consider I AM as an immovable truth, but everything that follows moves, changes, and shifts. When I’m living in the concept of I AM, I’m in the being and not doing. I’m not trying to be anything else. My actions become stabile and grounded in the knowing that I AM is always enough. Feels, thoughts, perspectives of truth (beliefs), and actions can all change, but I AM is an immovable truth until I AM no longer.

Today, I commit to embracing the symbolic meaning of rocks. I’m going to use today as a reminder to be in the energy I AM, which means that I’m focusing on being instead of doing. A great practice in being is rock balancing. Rock balancing is about being present, patient, and focused. When I’m balancing rocks, I’m 100% in the moment. The exercise itself leaves me feeling centered, stable and grounded—I AM.

It’s also about time that I open up to find a new rock for my collection. I will ask the Divine to reveal it to me. I always love what presents itself to me when I do this!

If you are planning on doing this exercise out in nature, please check the rules and/or laws about building cairns where you are. Some places don’t allow it because they use them as trail markers. Others places, welcome rock balancing as a spiritual practice.

  1. It’s beautiful how you used those words ‘I am’ there. I have been reading a book ‘The impersonal self’ that very much says this thing” I am”💜
