Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #313

I’m grateful for play. Sometimes I forget the importance of play. When I get caught up in the everyday doing, I can even get annoyed with play. I know I’m not alone here. I have two teens and a partner who each are playful at heart. I can tell when I’m getting too caught up in the doing when I don’t make the space to play with them. There is a freedom, creativity, and joy that come with play. When I allow myself to play and have fun doing it, I’m experiencing the fullness of the moment and in that is a state of joy. I’m fully aligned with the energy of love, abundance, and peace when I create the space to have some fun.

No adult is too old to play. Playing is part of what keeps us young. When I think of aging, it’s the videos of grandmas rocking out with their friends that make me say, “YES, that is what I want!” Now, I attract playful people to my life to remind me of the importance of just enjoying the silly, fun, and playful.

Here’s another great thing about play, I can do it by myself too! I can play in my art; I can enjoy creative play in my photography; I can play in my writing; I can play in making these social media posters; I can play by coloring in a coloring book, or by stacking blocks or books. There are so many different forms of play. The key is having fun and allowing myself to experience joy in the playfulness.

Today, I commit to using play to align with the energy of love, abundance, and peace. As I’m writing this my dog is jumping around in front me ready to go LOL. The energy of play is such a great energy. Play is definitely an area that I have room to work on. Today, I will make the time.

One of the ways I like to play is by getting on my Simply Fit Exercise Board and having some fun with weights. I like to play music and use weights in playful ways while I’m on the board. I sometimes laugh at myself as things don’t always work out as planned. I haven’t gotten on my board in a while. Today is a wonderful day to start it up again.

I’m going to approach the whole day with a playful mindset. I’m committing to play wholeheartedly! I think I will put up a few post-it notes around my house just to remind me. Life is better when play is at the center.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
