I’m grateful to KNOW AWE! Knowing AWE is one of the most exhilarating feelings I’ve embraced on my journey. I never used to appreciate moments in time like I do now. My mind used to be so clustered that I struggled to experience a moment in time no matter how amazing the moment was. When I missed being present to the moment, I missed the AWE. Now, because I know how to feel the AWE in the moment, I can also pull it up in my memories of the moment, which is AMAZING to me! This also makes it easier to feel AWE when looking at pictures of other people’s moments. The more I took notice to the AWE in a moment, the more AWE-filled moments I get on a regular basis.
Knowing AWE allows me to take the moment I’m in and be 100% aligned with the energy of love, abundance, and peace in that moment. It’s those moments that have helped me to recognize when my energy is misaligned with fear, lack, and separation too. If I’m separate from the moment, I won’t feel AWE. I love experiencing AWE regularly. I once believed I would only feel AWE when I went to see beauty in nature. I thought I had to take a road trip up to the mountains and waterfalls to feel AWE. At the time AWE felt more like a drug I was craving for my next high. As I’ve grown on my journey, I realized I am capable of feeling AWE anywhere. I’ve even felt it while washing my hands and doing the dishes. I’m so grateful to KNOW AWE!

Today, I commit BEING in a place to experience AWE. The place to experience AWE isn’t a physical place. AWE comes from the connectedness within. I have to be fully present while also having my energy aligned with love, abundance, and peace in that moment. This doesn’t mean that the moment before I’m fully aligned, just in the very moment of the experience.
Have you ever been taking a walk and venting to a friend then all the sudden you notice something AMAZING and it stops you in your tracks? Have you ever been stuck in your busy mind, getting things done, and all the sudden a child does the cutest thing? Have you ever been fighting with your partner and they do something so sweet in the moment that it just takes your breath away? AWE! Those are just a few examples of how I’ve experienced AWE even though I wasn’t available to the experience before that moment. Who knows how many things I’ve missed being stuck in my head. I’m not going to beat myself up over it, I’m just going to make conscious commitments to be in a place to experience AWE.
Staying present puts me in the right place to experience AWE. If I’m not caught up in the stories in my head, I’m able to be where my feet are. When I’m where my feet are, I appreciate all my daily tasks more. I often will feel AWE while stretching, taking a shower, smelling clean clothes, and reading. I’m feeling AWE right now as I’m listening to the rain and watching a little bird take shelter right outside my window. I often feel AWE as I’m free-writing. Then there are the times when I look at my kids laughing or talking and feel it too. I love that I don’t have to chase AWE. It’s here for the taking.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
