2024 Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #38

Today’s aligning covers a couple of different things, both celebrating our progress and discovering our personal mission statement as a way of helping us to figure out our destination to make the process a little easier. Before we dive in, I got a nudge to talk about something important. One of the things I believe in is the Divine Timing, and this morning I happened upon a documentary talking about a fallen influencer. I want to get into this a little bit, because I don’t want people to confuse what I’m doing here with the whole prosperity principle, toxic positivity, or some agenda to become the next great influencer with a cult-like following. It relates to not just today’s topics, but many of the topics I talk about.

I never want someone to feel like I’m telling them they have to do things a specific way our they will fail. My intention in what I do is to help myself and others figure out their own internal navigation systems. The last thing I want to do is encourage you to shame or guilt yourself in anyway, because I believe that’s the path to living in a reality filled fear, lack, and separation. Hence, why I try to help myself and others, align with love, abundance, and peace.

I’m not someone who is driven by having stuff, so when I do vision boards, it’s all about how I want things to look inside. Hence, my work is based around finding the best paths to align myself so that I don’t align with the energy of fear, lack, and separation out in the world. As I noticed people getting more divided, and wanting me to divide with them, I amped up my efforts to keep myself aligned with the energy that comes with better solutions.

What some of you don’t know is that I’m not a fan of reading articles trying to navigate through all the advertisements. I get why people do it, but making money isn’t the reason I write my blog or do my podcast. I actually pay money so that their won’t be additional advertisements on my blog because I don’t want people getting pulled away from the message.

I do everything I do to help me stay aligned with living life from a loving place. My inspiration for this path happened when I went to college in my late thirties. I just saw examples of so many different people that just made me say YES, this is how I want to live my life. The AHA moment if I had to name one in particular came when I went to a Holocaust Museum as a part of an assignment. It was 2015, and I saw the world dividing to a level I had never seen before in my lifetime. Now it was there, but I just saw it surfacing on a level I didn’t expect.

When I walked into the museum there was a room where a movie was playing, I sat down. In the film it was talking about all the brave heroes of that time. The people who refused to contribute to the hate. The ways people hid Jews to keep them safe, helped Jews find safe passage, and so much more. My heart just broke wide open, and I sat there sobbing.

After I went through each section listening to the audio commentary, I headed upstairs to see the human rights exhibit. Talk about a powerful combination! I listened to recordings of Martin Luther King, Jr. and to the different commentaries of the time. Again, my heart felt like it was broken wide open. After I went through each part, I went back downstairs. I sat across from one of the actual train cars that would transport Jews to the concentration camps with plaques of all the heroes of the Holocaust behind my head, and I knew, I wanted to leave a legacy of love in the world.

My heart kept going to quotes from Viktor Frankl, Elie Wiesel, Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr,, Maya Angelou, Don Miguel Ruiz, Byron Katie, and the stories of how Jesus treated all humans. There are so many more of these examples, but these were the ones influencing me in that moment. Yes, my mission is to live from a loving place. I don’t do it perfectly. I fall and and keep getting back up to try again.

I’ve made many choices that people don’t understand, and that’s okay. They are not on my path. I’m not on your path. You must decide the directions you want to take to meet your heart’s mission, calling, purpose, whatever you want to call it. You have a reason to be here just like I do. I just know for me, aligning with love, abundance, and peace is a part of what keeps me grounded enough to keep me aligned with the person I want to be.

The last thing I want to say before we dive in is this, we all have our journeys. We will all get lost from time to time. When we are compassionate with ourselves, we are open to be compassionate others. For my journey, paying attention to how I’m judging my fellow human is important. I know if I’m aligned with fear, lack, and separation, I will draw more of that chaos, us against them , and fearing anything I don’t understand into my reality. For me it’s important to always remember what I stand for, and not play into what I’m against. I’ve made many decisions to stay out of those divisive places. I might stand up differently for what I believe than others, but sometimes we get through to others in different ways. What’s important is that we use our voices the way they work best, and trust our journeys.
