Throughout the years, when I’m struggling to figure something out, I ask the Universe for CLEAR signs to help guide me where I need to go. I’m amazed at some of the crystal clear signs I’ve gotten over the years, and I’m so incredibly grateful.
I left the most toxic relationship I ever had based on a VERY clear sign, and because of that sign, I left the relationship from a place of peace within me. I knew it was the right thing to do. I’ve gotten clear signs on taking jobs, moving places, making challenging decisions, and getting the help I needed to live life from a loving place.
When I ask for clear signs AND remain open to hear the answers, the message is clear. Even if I don’t quite understand it at the time I get it. I’ve found when I ask for a sign, and I don’t get a clear answer…it means wait, be present, and just keep taking the next right step.
Back in 2020, I would go to Zoom meetings and hear the exact thing I needed. Opportunities to read books that were completely inline with what I needed would appear in front of me.
I really know when it’s a sign when I get goosebumps. It’s almost like the Universe is whispering, “Listen.” Once we ask for the clear signs, we have to leave ourselves open to the answer.
I’m not going to lie, sometimes this one could be challenging. I’ve had a long term wait sign around my career. Before I had kids I got a clear sign to be a stay-at-home mom and I’ve seen why I needed to be through the years, even though it didn’t understand it at the time. I keep getting signs to do specific things, then I will think it’s meant to take me one way and it takes me another. I thought when my youngest turned sixteen, I would have time to get a job, then she started really struggling with health problems that kept me from being able to do so. I kept wondering why certain career opportunities wouldn’t work out, and then I would need to be there for her. I’ve finally accepted I’m exactly where I need to be in this moment, because it’s where I am.
I’ve trusted signs for my whole adult life, and it’s led me on some of the most amazing adventures. Just because this sign went against what I thought I should be doing in that moment, doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right thing for me to do. It’s about learning to trust, because as my daughter’s health needs have increased, ways for me to be able to help her to the best of my ability keep showing up, and that’s pretty amazing.
One of my favorite things to do is write out my question to the Universe. Then go for a walk in nature with either nothing on or some sort of meditation music. I keep the intention of getting a clear answer. Then many times the answer comes on the walk. My favorite is when I see the connections through nature. I wrote some blogs called, Lessons from Nature. You can find them here.
Today’s Aligning
Love
Today, I commit to asking for clear signs.
Abundance
I’m grateful when I see CLEAR signs.
Peace
Write down a question asking for a sign about something. Now either sit and breathe focusing on being open for the answer or go for a walk.
Once you are done, I highly suggest doing 15-minutes of automatic writing. That means you set a timer and just write whatever comes to you for 15-minutes…no thinking or editing. The answer just may be there.
If you don’t get an answer, be patient and open. You may not expect to get the signs you do leading you down a path, but it’s about trusting your intuition and letting it reveal the next right step towards the answer you are asking for. I didn’t want to listen to the sign to be a stay at home mom for a long time, but when I looked back, there were clear and obvious signs that it was where I was supposed to be for YEARS! We just have to trust our own journeys. It’s not about things being right for someone else. That’s what can keep us from seeing our own signs clearly. Just trust the process.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
