Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #53

I’m SO grateful I’m responsible and accountable for my own perspectives of truth (beliefs). Learning this is what gave me my power back. Right now more than ever, I use my power on a daily basis to stay aligned with the energy of love, abundance, and peace. When my beliefs are aligned with fear, lack, and separation, I can question them and work on ways to re-align them——how AMAZING is that?! I can only do that by truly being responsible and accountable for what beliefs live inside of me. I don’t have to fall for fear agendas, propaganda, and pandering because I know those only lead to more fear, lack, and separation. I know other people’s negativity comes from their perspectives of truth, which come from fear, lack, and separation——just like mine does. Since I know that is not where I want to live, I make sure to find, follow, and support belief systems that strengthen the perspectives of truth that make me feel better about my time on this planet.

When I follow and believe in perspectives of truth that align with love, abundance, and peace, I know in my heart that I’m living and contributing to the best of my human ability. When my perspectives of truth are aligned this way, I can find meaning in the chaos. I can be at peace knowing my soul is safe and that my energy is contributing to the changes I want to see. I am responsible and accountable when I allow my beliefs to contribute to more fear, lack, and separation in the world and within myself too.

I’m not responsible and accountable for what anyone else contributes, I can only ever be an example by what energy I’m contributing. People will feel it and be connected or repulsed by whatever energy I put out. The more I contribute to the energy I want to see more with my beliefs, the more I can help others grow in that energy too——that is one of greatest gifts of aligning with the energy of love, abundance, and peace. It’s contagious!

Today, I commit to being responsible and accountable for ALL of my perspectives of truth (beliefs). The best things we can ever do for ourselves or anyone else is to become responsible and accountable for our own perspectives of truth. It is our responsibility to look at if our beliefs are aligning with fear, lack, and separation or love, abundance, and peace. What is right for us, will not ALWAYS be right for someone else. How I interpret words, people, places, things, situations, and the world is on ME! If I have a negative connection to someone or something, it is my responsibility to look at it and see how my beliefs are aligning with it.

No one can MAKE me believe in anything that aligns with the energy of fear, lack, and separation. Just like, no one can MAKE me believe in anything that aligns with the energy of love, abundance, and peace. I’m ACCOUNTABLE for the choices I make. Being accountable and responsible is choice I’m so incredibly grateful for. We don’t EVER have to give our power away. NO ONE can break us if we don’t give them the power to. I’ve been the victim of sexual and emotional assaults. Those people were aligned with fear, lack, and separation and they wanted me to be aligned with that energy too. For awhile, I was——NOT ANYMORE.

Today, I’m fully responsible and accountable for the energy I contribute to the world through my beliefs, and I will do my best to keep them aligned with love, abundance, and peace DAILY! Living in the energy of love, abundance, and peace isn’t tied to any ONE group, organization, country, religious belief, gender, etc. It is tied to an individual’s energy——That’s IT! When we lump people together out of fear, lack, and separation, we dehumanize them. We may just miss some of the most beautiful gifts of love, abundance, and peace.

SIDE NOTE: Shaming and blaming ourselves for when we do align with fear, lack, and separation keeps us in that energy. Being responsible and accountable has NOTHING to do with shaming or blaming ourselves. When we take responsibility and hold ourselves accountable we are committing to be better in each moment we are given. We feel things all the way through, then release them. We don’t give ourselves excuses, we just keep doing the best we can and learn from our experiences. Doing that shifts us to the energy of love, abundance, and peace. In order to contribute to the energy of peace, we first must be at peace with ourselves. In order to contribute to the energy of abundance, we first must trust we are ALWAYS getting everything we need. In order to contribute to the energy of love, we must feel the love inside of us so that we recognize it when we see and feel it outside of us.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #52

Today, I’m grateful for the times my voice represents love, abundance, and peace.

  • Have you been on this journey with me for the last 52 days?
  • Are you wanting to be a representative of the changes we want to see in the world?
  • Do you want to speak from a place where people can connect to your message?

The beauty of doing the daily work to live in the energy of love, abundance, and peace is that we listen more openly, so we are able to speak in a way that the recipient of our words can understand. When we speak from a place of peace, our intention isn’t to make people see OUR way. We understand that our beliefs are our perspectives. If our energy is aligned with love, abundance, and peace we are being the example of it. There is no force to conform. We don’t call someone names because they don’t feel the way we do. That is living in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. We are seeing a lot of that right now. We are not perfect, don’t expect yourself to be. We can be grateful for the times we do represent the energy of love, abundance, and peace. The more we notice it, the more we will be conscious of our energy during those challenging conversations. I’m so grateful when I can feel the love, abundance, and peace coming out of me. My whole being feels energized!

Today, I commit to being the voice of love, abundance, and peace in ALL my interactions with others. Yesterday, we listened with open ears and today we speak with an open heart. Start your day with a prayer for the strength, courage, and wisdom to communicate from the energy of love, abundance, and peace. Be conscious of the thoughts, feelings, and words that move through you. When dealing with a person who is coming from fear, lack, and separation: Take a deep breath in. Imagine a white light surrounding and protecting you (or angel’s wings) from the other person’s energy. Ask for guidance in how to communicate with this person from a loving and peaceful place. Take your time. If you feel the energy of fear, lack, and separation coming up inside of you, simply breathe and keep the communication to a minimum. Remember if you speak from that place, you are contributing to the energy and making it stronger. Make sure you are only contributing to energy you want to see more of. If you notice your energy has slipped, simply imagine the feelings being wrapped with love. It really does help.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #51

I’m grateful for my ability to listen openly. I don’t have the same political, religious, lifestyle, economic, or racial beliefs as ALL my friends. We each vary in our beliefs based on our own perspectives of truth (beliefs) that came from our history up to our present moment. I didn’t know what a gift it was to be able to listen until I watched so many people not listening to each other. I’ve seen the damage that not listening does to the collective. I see the damage it does to relationships with family, friends, loved ones, acquaintances, co-workers, and strangers. I see what judging others according their attachments to fear, lack, and separation does.

When I can listen in alignment with my soul’s energy, which is love, abundance, and peace, I can hear beyond what someone’s words are saying. If someone wants to move out of the energy of fear, lack, and separation, they will. Changing others isn’t my job. My job is to be the example of what I’m representing inside/out, and I can only do that by listening openly. Many people fall into the energy of fear, lack, and separation because they don’t feel heard.

I do my best to listen for the love, abundance, and peace someone is striving to get to, but hasn’t realized is inside of them. I’m grateful I was given this gift, the other option feels way too painful and restricting. When I listen, I learn. I see that all my beliefs are choices just like they are for anyone else. When I listen, I see and hear options of thought that feel like freedom or a prison, then I get to listen to voice inside me and choose.

Today, I commit to listening from the energy of love, abundance, and peace. This is the energy it takes to listen with open ears. When we are listening through the energy of fear, lack, and separation, we are looking for ways to fear more, prove lack, and react in ways to stay separate. We look for what makes us different instead of what makes us the same. When we are in a place of fear, lack, and separation, we can only hear what we agree with and we won’t even consider seeing another way of thinking. We dehumanize the people who are speaking if we disagree with them. You can find proof of this in the comments of most political posts. When we come from a place of love, abundance, and peace, we don’t have to talk down to others like their way of looking at things doesn’t matter. We see the human under their beliefs. We don’t have to agree with them. We actually listen in search of what connects us to each other. That is what the energy of love, abundance, and peace does. When we listen with open ears, we lower the defensive walls between each other and find a space for peace. When there is peace, we are open to shift and change beliefs that no longer serve us.

Pay attention to how it feels inside you when you listen from an open place. While your listening, don’t take a side, just try to figure out where the other person is coming from. Try listening between the lines. See where their beliefs align with fear, lack, and separation and/or love, abundance, and peace. Sometimes when we listen deep enough, and ask the right questions, the person’s energy might shift in a positive direction as they hear themselves speak. The best we can ask for is when someone starts to see themselves clearly.

One of the things I like to remember when I’m talking/listening to people is they are only seeing their reality through a straw-hole, just like I am. We get a very little view of the big picture. Where we focus is what we will see. I can move my straw as much as I want, but I’m only ever going to see that small viewing area. If I want to see more of the picture, I have to move my straw around, I do that by listening openly. Once I move the straw, I decide if that is an area I want to look into more or keep on moving.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #50

50 days!!! I’ve been on this journey for 50 days and so many wonderful things have happened. That is what happens when we align our energy with love, abundance, and peace——beautiful miracles unfold. I feel so connected to my purpose. I know that I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing in this moment. That feels amazing inside. The world around me can be in chaos, but because I’m aligned, I hold my peace. I project love, abundance, and peace and that is what comes back to me as I sit in my stillness, which I’m so grateful for. Today, I truly appreciate the stillness that comes with being aligned with love, peace, and abundance.

“In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you.”

Deepak Chopra

Today, I commit to noticing the stillness within me and appreciating it. The way to stillness is to release the energy of fear, lack, and separation inside of us. That energy keeps the chaos inside of us and makes it very hard to stop the hamster wheel of thoughts spinning in our brains. When we align with the love, abundance, and peace within us, stillness comes naturally. This turns into better sleep, better eating, and better taking care of ourselves, because we SLOW DOWN! Our mind isn’t filled with all the clutter, so we remember to take care of the gift that the Divine gave us with this life. When we commit to the journey of aligning with love, abundance, and peace——stillness becomes part of us. Today, when you notice you are aligned in the energy of love, abundance, and peace, STOP! Take three conscious breaths in and out and feel the stillness. Notice the peace and the feeling of expansion within you. If you can’t get there, keep doing this work daily. Write in your gratitude journals, do the challenges I suggest, and you will get there, but not if you stay aligned with fear, lack, and separation.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #49

Taking action towards living the life of our dreams takes courage. Each step is something to be grateful for. I’m grateful for the courage to take action. I really want anyone who is reading this today to celebrate anytime you’ve taken a step towards your dreams. Even if part of taking a step is reading these posts daily. Aligning our energy with love, abundance, and peace is a GIANT step to living our dream lives, because without being aligned we will sabotage ourselves. When we align with the energy of fear, lack, and separation, we might get rich, but still live in lack, We might see success, but constantly fear losing it all. We might think we made it, then separate ourselves from our moral fiber that makes us a good human. To me, that’s not winning.

I want my success to be completely aligned with what brings out the joy in me and others. I want to know I’m serving my purpose, and that the people who are brought to me are seeking to experience life from a place of love, abundance, and peace. I know that everyday I take action, I have the chance to contribute to a better life for myself and others. If you know me, and are reading this, you might say, “I bet she’s crying right now.” You’d be right. The other day, I read something that really hit me.

I feel a deep love in my heart and tears well up as I touch this sacred and Divine part of myself.

Dr. Judith Pentz, Cleanse Your Body, Reveal Your Soul (p.111)

Have you ever had that feeling? Any time I have the courage to take actions that are aligned with love, abundance, and peace, I feel this in the deepest parts of me. The gratitude I feel for that is overwhelming that my body can’t contain it, which is why cleansing tears run down my face.

Today’s challenge is to take action towards our dreams. I don’t care what your dreams are! Breathe in, align yourself with love, abundance, and peace; release your breath——NOW SHIFT! This energy only serves the best in ourselves and humanity if we do something with it. Be courageous and take action. How do you want to use this energy in your life? What do you want to accomplish? Who do you want to serve? What step can you take today? NOT tomorrow, right now! It doesn’t have to be a huge step, just a step. Then make the same commit the next day to take another step. We can only get there if we are brave enough to keep moving. I’m not separate from you here, I will be taking at least one step today.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #48

I’m grateful for so many health and wellness options. When we start living in the energy of love, abundance, and peace we start attracting health and wellness to us in the most incredible ways and because we are ready to plant the seed, more options appear. Here’s an example, I’ve been on this specific journey now since I went to North Carolina to retreat into the mountains to re-center myself. While I was there, I started eating better, and a friend introduced me to a stretching exercise program that made my body feel better than it has is years. Since I came back from that trip, I started writing in my gratitude journal every day. Then I uncovered a block I had with financial abundance, so I started adding meditations and writing practices to my daily routine. That’s when the idea for this blog series came up to help me keep my thoughts, beliefs, and actions aligned with the energy of love, abundance, and peace.

Now, this whole time: I’m eating better, exercising, losing weight, writing, and having a positive mindset. A couple days ago, I was asked to fill-in for someone as moderator on an author panel. I got to check out two books loaded with tons of tools and practices using more health and wellness modalities. Interviewing these women was such a treat, and I learned more about some mediation practices that I knew very little about. I even learned about a specific meditation practice that aligns perfectly with the work that I do. It didn’t stop there, We also talked about the importance of nutrition and breaking patterns that aren’t serving us. This is the amazing thing about this journey. When we fully align with it, more ways to take care of ourselves appears. Here’s the best part, I didn’t spend any extra money to do it.

When we start living in the energy of love, abundance, and peace the doors to living healthier and more aligned lives appears. If you have money to spend, someone may tell you about a course, yoga class, Tai Chi class, meditation circle, drum circle, singing bowls, books, meal plans, the list goes on. When we are not aligned with fear, lack, and separation we aren’t fighting against ourselves to get healthy. I’m so grateful there is so much out there when I set my intention on living my healthiest life. Oh and by the way, I did my first pull-up EVER the other day. Yes, my body is healthier and stronger now than it has ever been.

Today’s challenge is to set the intention for a healthy body, mind and soul. Pay attention to how you are guided to take care of yourself. We can let the internet take us to places that will help us feel better, or that will contribute to us feeling worse. If an idea pops into your head to try a different kind of meditation, exercise, mindset practice, mindfulness exercises, etc. Go down that rabbit hole and find your wonderland of the adventure of wellness. Don’t stop there! Keep going! My daily routines have become such an integral part of my day, where I used to convince myself that I didn’t have the time. The truth is when I made the energy of love, abundance, and peace take the lead——time appeared. Enjoy the adventure.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #47

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, I’m grateful for the people who rise above the hate. It’s the people who rise above the hate during our dark days of humanity that inspire the world to shift in a positive direction. We have to shift ourselves away from the energy that keeps us in the cycle on of fear, lack, and separation, which is HATE. When we can rise above that by seeing that it is a choice to accept it or not to, we empower ourselves to shift our energy to love, abundance, and peace. EVERY TIME I watch someone who does this, I feel empowered to do the same. My energy is aligned with their message because love, abundance, and peace is at the core of compassion. Seeing it in the actions of others is such a beautiful blessing.

Today, I’m focusing my attention on the people in my life who rise above the hate. These are people who will not engage in the hate of others because of race, gender identity, political status, religious beliefs, economic status, criminal records, etc. These people don’t hate the people who hate. In their minds, their is no justification for hate.

Do you have people in your life that are the examples of this? Have you read stories of people who were like this? I know I have, and the more I focus my attention on it, the more I see. It reminds me of another great role model from my childhood, Fred Rogers. When we look to the people who are helping (serving from a loving place), it helps us connect to the hope, compassion, love, and kindness within ourselves and in the world.

When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’

Fred Rogers a.k.a. Mr. Rogers

Today, I commit to rise above the hate. Anytime I feel myself beginning to slip, I will “look for the helpers.” I will focus my energy on the ones who had the strength before me to rise above it. The people that despite the hate that confronts them, rose above it. I commit to feeding the energy of love, abundance, and peace within me. The more light I shine from within, the more it will be seen in the world to be that example for the next person. Even in the time it took me to write these words, more and more people who rise above the hate keep coming to mind as far back as the first stories I remember hearing about Jesus. He was my first example of a human choosing to rise above the hate. I also think of women like Maya Angelou whose voice rings in my ears reminding me to rise. Today, let’s rise by taking strength away from the energy of fear, lack, and separation and giving it to the energy of love, abundance, and peace.

“Let no man pull you low enough to hate him.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

This to shall pass is one of the best mantras I’ve ever learned!!! This isn’t just for the things that we don’t like that are happening, it’s a reminder to pay attention to the good that is in our lives too. This too shall pass, is the understanding that we are not stagnant! Life is not stagnant! We are constantly in flow whether we choose to resist or not, is up to us. When we understand that life is like a river, we can choose to be grateful for the moments we get to celebrate, the ones we get to learn from, and the ones that can challenge us on a much deeper level. Each moment passes with gifts to offer us if we remain open to receive them. Living mindfully gives us space to remember life is movement——A journey.

I know 2020 has been a year of movement beyond what many of us ever thought possible, but it is moving. We can move with it in the energy of love, abundance, and peace or the energy of fear, lack, and separation. Whichever energy we fuel ourselves up in, we make stronger in the next moment. If we choose to live in the energy of fear, lack, and separation, we can be grateful that this too shall pass. In the next moment, or the one after we can choose differently. We are never trapped in an energy that we don’t want, because this too shall pass. Let’s be grateful that every moment we get here passes, so if we don’t want to stay in the same mindset, we don’t HAVE to. That is the beauty of this incredible journey, no matter how many twists and turns, ups and downs, and crossroads we face, this too shall pass.

Today, whether we are celebrating, struggling, and/or completely overwhelmed, SLOW DOWN! Take three long deep breaths in, and three deep breaths out. Repeat with every breath, this too shall pass. Let’s give ourselves the space to appreciate the moments that are joyful, and create space from the moments we are struggling through. Embrace the moment like a mother’s loving arms wrapping around her baby. For those whose relationships with their moms don’t feel loving and/or safe, imagine the most giant angel wings surrounding you in this space. Just breathe——this too shall pass. Remember life is ever-changing and transforming. We choose how we want to live moment to moment. Allow yourself to wrap whatever moment you are in in the energy of love, abundance, and peace. Pay close attention how your energy shifts as you give yourself the space to breathe and accept this moment in time, and with that the moment is over and you are given a new one. What will you do with it.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #45

Serving humanity from a loving place is one of the biggest blessings to the givers and the receivers. There is something very different about the energy when someone is serving from a loving place. I speak a lot about this in my book. Some people think they are, but really they are serving others from a place of lack, a place of fear. They are trying to find their worth in serving others. When this happens, they put out expectations and when they are not met, they are hurt making them feel worse. This only contributes to more fear, more lack, and more separation. Over time, serving this way depletes them.

When a person is serving from a loving place, you can feel it in their energy. They are shining their light and the receiver feels the warmth. It’s truly beautiful.Think about the service you get in restaurants. Most of us have had people who are serving because they need that pay check, but really don’t want to be serving us. Depending where we are in our own energy, we will feel their energy consciously (making us want to share our light with them to help to brighten theirs) or unconsciously (react with more fear, lack, and separation). Hopefully, most of us have also had the servers who we can feel the positive energy exuding out of them from an authentic place.

We can see this in every facet of life. If a person serves out of fear, including the fear of not being in God’s good graces, the service still comes from fear. It doesn’t have the same effect on the givers or the receivers. It fuel more fear, lack, and separation in the world. Now, those ones who give from a loving place, they are full before they give, and they are full after they give. Those are the people I’m focusing my gratitude on today. It’s their lights that light up the world. Pay attention!!! There are people who serve from a loving place EVERYWHERE!!! You may have to look harder for them at first, but once you put your intention of seeing them, you will. Each one you see, be grateful. Just by doing that, we increase the energy of love, abundance, and peace in the world. If we truly want to change the world, and move out of the cycle of insanity (doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result), we have to put our energy on the change we want to see.

Today’s challenge is to serve humanity from a loving place. This means we are practicing kindness, compassion, empathy, and faith. When we put out the intention that we are committing to serve humanity from a loving place, people will show up to serve. You might get a call from a friend, a text, see something on social media, see someone needing a random act of kindness when you are out, witness something that calls for your service, etc. It could be something as simple as talking to the cashier with kindness and support. In the times we are living in right now, it could be something bigger. Trust the guidance, and serve accordingly. If it is you who are brought to the situation, it’s your opportunity.

We are in need of people who are willing to look past any differences and serve humanity from a loving place. There are so many people caught in struggles beyond their control and they are getting swept up by the energy of fear, lack, and separation. Someone coming in from an authentic place of love, abundance, and peace, might be EXACTLY what they need to help them shift out of that energy. We can only serve from a loving place if it’s authentic. Otherwise, we are serving from a place of fear, lack, and separation. Even the feeling in our bodies is completely different. Even if what you have to give is a prayer or a positive thought—DO IT! Don’t judge the love in your heart, just spread it. Love and fear don’t exist in the same moment. We are either serving one or the other, and it takes us being in our full consciousness to hold onto that love during these trying times. Do the work. If you need help, my book gives tons of tools. No one can do this work for you. It is something you have to consciously decide to do and commit to. All I can tell you is humanity needs you, exactly you. We all have a light to shine, we just have to decide if we are tired of sitting in the dark.

If you want to come on this journey with me, make sure you follow! I’m here at FromALovingPlace.com daily!

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #44

If we want to align with the energy that will make this world better, we have to put our energy in a place that lifts our energy to that level. One of the places I love going for that is searching out compassionate people in the world. I love watching, listening, and reading stories of people rising up to help others in some way. I’m blessed to be surrounded by many compassionate souls, so I watch friends and strangers come together to pray, stand, and support people despite any differences, but through the connection of humanity. It is very easy to get lost in the division, caused by feeding the energy of fear, lack, and separation. I have so much love and respect for the people who rise above it, and listen, speak, and share from the heart, because that is how we feed the energy of love, abundance, and peace.

Today’s challenge is to commit to practicing compassion with ourselves and others. First, we have to start inside. If we are not compassionate to ourselves, we won’t recognize when we are not being compassionate to others, ESPECIALLY those who think differently than we do. First, if you are looking in the mirror and criticizing yourself, STOP! See the beautiful soul that you are. The better you nurture and love yourself, the easier it is to take care of yourself. Abusing ourselves, only keeps us in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. By doing that, we create more of that energy in the world. So if we want more love, abundance, and peace in the world, we have to feel it inside and that all begins with having compassion for ourselves and end the self-abuse. I do know this isn’t a one day challenge, but we have to start somewhere. Why not here? Why not now?

Once we show ourselves compassion, it will be much easier to show compassion to others, because remember just like us, we only ever can share what is inside of us. If a person is filled with the energy of fear, lack, and separation, their perceptions of themselves and others is driven by that. If a person is filled with the energy of love, abundance, and peace, they will look at themselves and others through that lens. Our compassion, can be the light that someone needs to shift their energy to a more loving and peaceful place. Spend time watching how this happens. Search out good Samaritan stories. Pay attention to what happens in your body when you watch them. Now, imagine for one second, you have the power to create that shift in energy. How does that feel inside you? Start with how to make yourself feel that way, then extend that energy out.
