I’m grateful for the symbolic meaning of angels. These two come from my collection. I have angels scattered around my writing and sleeping space. I feel protected with all my angels around. I never feel alone when I there are angels around. My collection of angels remind me to call on angels in time of celebration and/or stress.
One of the areas I’ve had extreme anxiety is during test taking. I used to get to the point where any noise or sound would make me freeze. It wasn’t so much on essay tests, but multiple choice tests were brutal on me. Being a divergent thinker, I would find ways for answers to be right in my head. This made it very hard to eliminate all the options. It wasn’t until adulthood that I learned to call on the angels for support in remembering the knowledge already in my head. This helped tremendously when going through the testing to become a pre-school teacher and going back to college later in life. Often, I would put a little angel in my pocket to remind me that everything was going to be okay.
I love the visual of angels consoling the sick, dying, and grieving. That thought brings peace to my heart. Feeling protected, comforted, supported, and never alone is what having angels around means to me. Having angels around helps to keep me in the energy of love, abundance, and peace over fear, lack, and separation. That is a HUGE reason for me to keep my angels around me.
Today, I commit to embracing the symbolic meaning of angels. These three angels sit by my bed. When I feel like I need to take the amethyst angel with me, I do. I also have a rose quartz angel. My angels are my reminders that I’m never alone and I’m always being supported by powers greater than my understanding. Embracing the symbolic meaning of angels means asking for support and expressing gratitude when I feel supported. I’ve learned that expressing gratitude while asking is the best testament to having faith in how things work. It announces my faith in the process.
Today, I will:
- Call on angels when I need an extra hand
- Keep reading Hiring the Heavens by Jean Slatter
- Thank the angels when I feel those chills or tingles
- Envision angels helping and supporting others in need
