“The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”
Byron Katie, Hope Beneath Our Feet
Yesterday’s quote was the first of the three quotes I used in my book, Letters from a Better Me. This is the second one. I read this one while I was in college too. It hit me right at the core. Being accountable and responsible for the energy I project out to the world is the key to me living and contributing to the best of my ability. I’m not responsible for other people’s thoughts, beliefs, actions, or reactions, but I’m 100% responsible and accountable for anything that comes from me. When I clean-up my inner world, my outer world changes.
With Love and Gratitude,
