“I was once why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.”
Mother Teresa
This was the third quote I used in Letters from a Better Me because it’s how I recognized the power and importance of representing what I stand for. If I put my energy into what I’m against, I contribute to the very energy that makes that collective energy stronger. When I speak out of rage and revenge, it’s the energy inside of me. If I’m not projecting inner peace, I’m not contributing to peace outside of myself. I’m only accountable and responsible for the energy I’m projecting, so the question becomes: What do I really want to create more of? I work on in my relationships, home community, writing, and interactions on social media.
