Today’s aligning is one of my favorite topics. It’s all about being responsible and accountable for my own perspectives of truth aka my beliefs. I bring this one up a lot because it’s the foundation of everything I do. Without this one, nothing else will come together. As long as we put our crap on other people, we will stay in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. As long as we give the responsibility over to others to make us happy, we will stay in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. And, as long as we give things outside of us the responsibility to make us happy, we will remain a prisoner to the energy of fear, lack, and separation. I know I don’t want to to stay there. I will choose accountability and responsibility every time.

There are a lots of ways to do this. I personally like doing what’s called shadow work and I also got a lot out of doing the 12-step work in Al-Anon. The fourth step is about really investigating what makes us tick. The key is to look at ourselves without self-abusing. Have compassion for yourself while doing any work where you take a deep, hard look at yourself. It’s essential!
