I’m grateful for cherished moments. Having beautiful moments to look back to is a gift, but doing it in the wrong energy can turn the gift into a prison. If our energy is aligned with love, abundance, and peace. The energy of the moment can ignite us to feel authentic joy. If our energy is aligned with fear, lack, and separation, we can use it as a tool to keep us down by wishing we were somewhere we aren’t (lack). We can also engage our fears of never getting to experience a moment like that again. We can also use the money to separate ourselves from the very people, places, and things that once brought us joy. Life is an ever moving journey. When we can look back and enjoy the memory with love, we align with an energy that will create more moments of love to occur. They may be totally different, but the energy becomes magnified the more we live in that energy. Cherished moments are not just dream vacations. They are walking down the street and seeing a beautiful bloom, sharing a laugh with a friend, snuggling on the couch, doing pull-ups with your kids, being present for a teachable moment, the list goes on. We are in the energy of abundance when we look to these cherished moments with a smile across our faces and our body feels relaxed. If you feel tight or constricted, there is some thought, feeling, or belief attaching to fear, lack, and/or separation. Breathe in and enjoy the walk down the hall of cherished moments. Don’t forget to write them down because it amplifies the energy of abundance.

Today, I commit to tapping into the energy of my cherished moments. I love this exercise. It really puts my mood and energy right. If you want to get the full experience of today’s challenge, grab pen and paper. Take a moment to take three deep cleansing breaths. Close your eyes and tap into a time and place where you felt authentic joy. Be with the energy of that moment. Write down the things you loved about this cherished moment. REALLY get into it. Try to write down feelings and thoughts while trying to describe the energy to the best of your ability. Notice what your mouth is doing. Notice how your throat, stomach, head, arms, legs, feet, and finger are doing. Do you have goosebumps? Do you feel a tingling sensation anywhere? Go into the physical reaction you are having and try to remember another time you felt this energy. Again, document what comes up while being full engaged in the feelings and sensations. When we can ignite our senses, the memories become more vivid and align our energy even more.
When you are ready to move on from this experience end it with a gratitude list. Don’t forget to write down being grateful for the cherished memories. This tells your brain to pull up more of these memories. I find this to be a great tool when I feel my energy slipping into the dark zone. Just writing about this puts me in a better mood instantly. Just remember, your focus is to tap into the energy of love, abundance, and peace. If you feel yourself starting to enter into the energy of fear, lack, and separation, do the work to re-align your thoughts. Accept what comes through, and be grateful to be shown the work you have to do. Doing this helps open doors to learning healthier ways of experiencing the memories. The more open we are to whatever comes our way, the more connected we feel with the journey of life. We learn to start seeing learning opportunities as cherished moments, and when we do that…we learn to live free.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
