I’m grateful for the energy I get from exercising. When I started exercising on a regular basis, I realized I had an upswing in energy. I didn’t feel like I was hitting a brick wall around 4 PM. I felt better during dinner and clean-up. I slept better. My stress levels dropped way down, so the energy was a peaceful energy. When I stopped exercising on a regularly basis my energy dropped, mood dropped, and stress levels increased again. I’m grateful I got the reminder of how much exercise helped me in ways not related to losing weight. Exercise is such a positive tool for my physical and mental well-being. I know that when I’m making time to exercise, even if it’s 20 minutes, I’m doing something physical to align my energy with love, abundance, and peace. I’m so grateful for that.

Today, I commit to exercising to feel more energy. Right now, my weight is in the range I’m comfortable with. It’s in these times I need to remember there are other reasons to exercise beyond losing weight. One of those reasons is the increase in GOOD energy. Nervous, stressful, vengeful, angry, and/or chaotic energy is all linked to the energy of fear, lack, and separation. When I don’t take actions steps to take care of my energy, I can easily slip into cycles that will keep me in the chaos. Exercising is one of the ways I like to physically shift my energy into the space of love, abundance, and peace. It took me decades, but I finally found a few exercise programs that work well for me while also getting me the results I want. We each have to find that for ourselves. I pay attention to my energy when I’m working out to see if it’s making me feel better physically and mentally. If it doesn’t, it’s not the right exercise for me. I have friends who do all kinds of different programs. Some I like, and some I don’t. Some I will do for a short time, and others I don’t like from the first time doing it.
Finding the programs that fuels the energy we want to exude is important. I love the feeling of walking in nature, going on my Simply Fit board, and doing the Classical Stretch work out with Miranda Esmonde-White. I will go through times where I do other movement workouts, but I tend to go back to the activities that get my energy where I want it. When we pay attention to our energy, our bodies tell us what they need.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
