Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #302

I’m grateful for the symbolic meanings of flames. I love losing myself in the flames of a campfire. There is something magical and soothing about watching the flames dance. When I think of what flames represent, I light up inside…pun intended. Some of the ones I connect to most are the light within, the eternal flame, the spark that lights the fire, the white flame (flame of purity, intention, choice, and creation), and the torch to light the way. As I sit in a candlelit room, I know serenity. I feel instant peace even though up until this point I’ve been going non-stop. The candles remind me to slow down, take conscious breaths, and just BE.

I see the shadow of the flame being what happens when a fire loses control and becomes a wildfire. I see that as what happens when we lose ourselves in the chaos of the doing and forget to go within and get out of our story and just be.

I love staring at the single flame of a candle and listening to the wisdom that follows. I’m always amazed at the things that come to me when I slow down and just allow myself be in the state of I AM.

Today, I commit to embracing the symbolic meanings of flames. Sometimes I forget how wonderful I feel when I simply light a candle and allow myself to just be. When I allow myself to be, I’m open to receive. Whether I’m watching the flames dance or I’m focusing on a single flame, I free. This is the true meaning of Serenity Now. Serenity is in the being, not the doing. If I want to be in the state of serenity while doing, that takes presence and being fully centered. A simple lighting of a candle, playing meditation music, and allowing my energy to slow down into alignment with love, abundance, and peace puts me at one with my own inner flame. I like to think of it as the Divine flame, the state of I AM.

I embrace the symbolic meaning of flames when I allow myself to shine as my authentic self. For me, that’s when I can move with being into the doing, like a flame dancing. I feel AWE when I think of the purity of that image.

I absolutely love this journey I’m on doing this daily aligning with love, abundance, and peace. It’s been 302 days! My energy is more aligned than it has ever been for an extended period of time.
