2024 Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #59

Today’s aligning is about being grateful for those self-care tools that get us through the hard days. I can’t speak for anyone else, but when I’m in the midst of my dark days, there is not a lot I want to do, or should I say motivate myself to do. Those are the days I rely on some of my most basic tools that don’t take up a lot of my energy.

I don’t beat myself up anymore about everything I’m not doing. I just simply work I what I can and am willing to do. Sometimes it’s as simple as eating for me. When I eat, I take the extra time to be mindful about the process. I might do my favorite mindfulness practice while washing my hands and doing the dishes. I take deep conscious breaths. Those are some of the very simple tools I’m grateful for during those days.

Sometimes it might be listening to my “Happy” playlist while I’m cleaning my bedroom or a drawer. It’s just about taking little baby steps, and with each step, we make more space for good to come in…even if it’s just for a few moments. It matters!

Need More Support?

Stop comparing yourself to other people. Figure out what works for you. Try different things and just notice how doing them makes you feel. You are just building your toolbox. In the beginning, I made a lot of lists. I wrote down the things I did and how they made me feel. That just helped me to remember what worked and what didn’t. I list a lot of those in my book, Letters from a Better Me and you will see them in my different series in the blog and on the podcast.

Until next time, I wish you love, abundance, and peace.
