I’m grateful for being able to see the human behind the numbers—no matter how painful it is. Being aligned with love, abundance, and peace, isn’t always a high. Sometimes it’s about letting our humanity shine through. Sometimes it’s the recognition of all the families who have lost family members, loved ones, community members, and/or colleagues to COVID or violence. Sometimes it’s feeling compassion and empathy for the the number of people who are struggling to survive and provide for their families during this holiday season. I don’t run from the tears that come from caring. I allow my heart to break wide open, because it is showing me that my humanity is intact. If I am not willing to see the human behind the number, I need to work on my humanity.
As someone who puts family on the top of my priority list, I want my loving energy to go out to all the families who need it. I want the person reading my words to know that they aren’t just a number to me. I’m grateful you are on this planet. Your life matters. Your voice matters. Your presence matters. Your family matters. The more we can show up for each other aligned with love, abundance, and peace, the greater the good we are able to offer to the world. We can be and do all things for all people. When we are aligned, we get little nudges that say, “Here is what YOU can do.” Those are the nudges I do my best to follow. Then I put my energy out there to hope that someone else will get the nudge to be able to help in an area that I’m not.
Today, I commit to reaching out to a stranger to let them know they are seen and that they matter. The other day, on Facebook Live (link here), I talked about wanting to write letters and give them to the hospitals for the COVID units for them to give to patients who are feeling alone. Today, I’m going to start writing those letters. I plan on writing as many as I can. I just want to make sure people know that their lives matter. They aren’t just a COVID number. I would love to hear what others are doing to help others feel seen this holiday season. Doing things like this can break us from toxic cycles of fear, lack, and separation and reconnect us to the energy of love, abundance, and peace instantly. This is love in action. We may help someone else feel a moment of love, abundance, and peace by showing up. We amplify the energy three-fold. If that is not a beautiful gift that we can offer the world, I don’t know what is. I’m committed to spreading the energy I want to see more of this holiday season. Be conscious of the energy you are spreading. Is it what you want to see more of?
With Love, Abundance, and Peace,
