Do It Now Challenge #4

Why do we often forget to take even just a few minutes daily to do something we enjoy to do? It doesn’t have to be long, so saying we don’t have time is just an excuse. If we like dancing, we can even put it on while we are doing something around the house. We can listen to music, audiobooks, or podcasts in a car, on a train, or on walk. In the bathroom, we can make space for breathing, meditating, reading, and listening to stand-up comedy in the shower if that is something you enjoy.

I know the problem with me is I will often give myself time constraints and say, “I’m too busy” or “I don’t have time.” It’s like I forget that I don’t have to do something I enjoy for an extended period of time if I don’t have the time. I can just do it now even if I only have the time I’m in the bathroom, shower, folding laundry, doing dishes, driving in the car, or what have you. I only limit myself when I don’t make the space for doing something I enjoy.

Do Something You Enjoy
