SOW #19 The Secret Energy of Food with Special Guest Leslie Urbas

Are you ready to get to the core of the problem with so many of our weight-loss attempts? Are you ready to come face to face with the messaging that is keeping us stuck in the same patterns? In this week’s episode of Seeds of Wisdom, Leslie Urbas walks listeners through some of the worst things we do to ourselves in the name of trying to lose weight and/or eat just the right things. As much as I know about how powerful self-talk is when it comes to creating our realities, there were so many messages about food and weight that I hadn’t even CONSIDERED before talking to Leslie. This conversation truly hit me to the core! I’m so excited to share this conversation with you.

Side note: I have not done the course. I’m a huge advocate for trusting our guts and how the Universe conspires for us if something is right for us to do. I don’t believe in making these decisions from a fear or shame-based place. If you want to trust your gut, be still.

A question I might ask myself is, “Is doing this best for my highest good?” When I’m questioning whatever I’m asking about, then the answer isn’t a definitive “YES” or “NO” at this moment. When I do get a very clear definitive answer, I FEEL this inner push inside me to start taking the steps to either make it happen if I feel that inner “YES” or shut the door if I’m getting, “NO!” I will also get a “Not now” with an inner knowing that it will eventually be the right time to do it. I’m telling you this, because it’s important to learn to trust our inner voices and know the difference when we are coming from a place of fear/shame or love/wisdom.
