Today’s aligning is all about my favorite of all practices to get me through challenging days, three conscious breaths. I can’t help but take them every time I talk about them. It’s my reminder to pause and assess what’s important in this moment. Sometimes when I’m stuck in a funk, three conscious breaths is all I can muster the energy to do. I truly believe that it was doing these on a regular basis that helped me find my way back to doing the daily practice of aligning with love, abundance, and peace. The breaths helped me see signs more clearly, navigate my emotional pain, and take small steps forward when I felt like no choice was helping to get me out of my hole.

Need More Support?
If you are in a funk, take the three conscious breaths as often as you can and listen. If you feel guided to get mental health support, do it. There is a lot more out there than just traditional therapy. If you are a trauma survivor, research trauma therapies. If you’re grieving, look up grief support groups. If you’re struggling with addiction, codependency, emotions, or a loved one with addiction, there are both 12-step support groups and others, but just know that taking the three conscious breaths may just help lead you down a path that feels right for you.
