Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #84

I’m grateful for the choice to live an empowered life. In just a few hours after this piece is published, I will be speaking at a virtual conference on the the power of perspective: Are You a Prisoner of Your Perspective or Does it Set You Free? Our beliefs are perspectives of truth. We choose them. Some are formed subconsciously as they are passed from generation to generation and others gathered along the way. When we become accountable and responsible for how we are choosing to live based on our beliefs, we open the door to be set free. When we understand the words of the Serenity Prayer, we gain the power to empower or lives.

When I learned to hold myself accountable and responsible for the things I can change, my focus became on changing me. I changed my perceptions, thoughts, actions, and responses to align with the life I wanted to be living. I live empowered because I know I can’t change anyone else, so the question becomes— what can I do now? How can I best project the energy of love, abundance, and peace to the world. Knowing that I ALWAYS have the power to educate myself, expand my thoughts, and shift with the moment has helped me to pivot during these challenging times. I’m not scared to be me, and that is because I’m aligning with the energy I want to project.

Today, I commit to empowering myself. I hold myself accountable and responsible for the choices I make today. I will represent the energy of love, abundance, and peace in my thoughts, beliefs, actions, and responses to others. I will forgive myself when I stumble and fall. I will not participate in self-abuse emotionally or physically. I will honor, respect, and protect myself, so that I show others how to treat me.

When we give ourselves back the power that is ours—We are free! We understand that when we work on our internal world, our external reality shifts. It truly is a miraculous thing.
