Today’s aligning is all about not taking what other people say or do personally. I know this one can be REALLY challenging. Even having the mother I have who told me time and time again that “It’s none of my business what people think of me,” I STILL can take what people say and do personally from time to time, especially the people closest to me. Remember, I’m a single mom of two teens. If you know anything about teenagers, you know how challenging this one can be when these young people are preparing to go out into the world and really don’t like a parent being there hindering their freedom. It’s not always a pretty combination. I definitely need this reminder.

Today’s Daily Aligning
Love
Repeat as often as you can throughout the day: What people think of me is none of my business. What I think of me is 100% my business, and that is what I will give my energy to today.
Abundance
I’m grateful for other people’s perspectives for these reasons…
Examples: I’m grateful people think differently, because it means we will have different strengths.
I’m grateful for different perspectives because it keeps me open to see we all how choices in how we want to believe. I’m grateful for different perspectives because it helps me see love, abundance, and peace from many different angles.
Peace
Today, I commit to practice seeing what others say and do as a projection of what is going on inside of them.

I will tell you the best two books I’ve ever read to help me through this piece are:
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and Loving What Is by Byron Katie. These books are embedded into my foundation of the person I strive to be, while accepting who I am in the process. Both books saved my life in different ways.
