How am I aligning my energy in this moment?
Am I aligning with love, abundance, and peace or fear, lack, and separation?
I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I ask myself these very questions. Until I first wrote this series in 2020, I didn’t realize how my choices throughout the day were leading me in one direction or the other.
I’m so excited to be on this journey keeping my energy aligned, I know I need it. My head is so much clearer when I make sure I’m aligned. I have more energy, I eat better, I communicate better, and I serve better. Those are just a few of the benefits. I know adding anything to our days can feel overwhelming. That’s why I really try to help you see that this aligning doesn’t have to be about adding a bunch more to your day. It actually may lead to taking things that don’t serve you out of your day.
The practices don’t even have to be big. Whatever it takes to move your energy in the direction of inner love, abundance, and peace. This journey is an inside job. Think of it as tending to an inner garden, which if you’re a follower, you know I call this the garden of the soul. Making a garden healthy takes work. Keeping a garden healthy takes work. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the work, I want you to think about this. It takes just as much work to keep yourself aligned with fear, lack, and separation. You are just doing it subconsciously so you are not paying attention to how much your thoughts and actions are taking you there, believe me, I know! That’s why I needed to come back to doing this work again. I’m weeding out all the growth that’s built up since I stopped making my aligning a normal practice.
Remember, we can’t project peace to our relationships or the world unless we are carrying it inside of us. One of our greatest challenges can be re-wiring how we treat ourselves, but nothing is going to change if we don’t. Be kind and compassionate to yourself. Embrace all of who you are. You deserve the most loving partner, one who knows and understands you, so be that partner to yourself.
Today’s Aligning
Love
Repeat as often as possible while either hugging yourself or using butterfly tapping over your heart: I am my life partner. I show myself the love, respect, and loyalty that I deserve.

Abundance
What are three things I’m grateful for in this moment?
Examples: It could be a place to live, breathable air, comfortable shoes, etc.
Peace
What three things I commit to doing today in order to improve my connection with my body?
Examples: Drinking 64oz of water, writing in a journal, eating healthy, exercising, taking a walk, meditating, dance breaks, loving affirmations in the mirror about my body, etc.
