Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #42

I feel so blessed and grateful I attract the energy I put out into the world, because I know if I don’t like what is coming back to me or where my focus is going, I can change it. My energy being aligned with love, abundance, and peace attracts people to me and/or my work that are aligned or noticing they want to be aligned too. I’m contributing to the collective energy that I want to see more of in the world. I see so many people aligning, questioning, shifting, growing, and expanding. If my energy wasn’t aligned, all I would see is the ongoing chaos created by the same cycles of thinking that come from fear, lack, and separation. I have to make choices daily to project, reflect, and attract, but they are MY choices. I find that incredibly empowering!

Today, I commit to paying close attention to what I’m attracting to me with the energy I’m putting out in the world. When I finally got this lesson, it truly changed the trajectory of my life. I repel and attract according to the energy I’m putting out in the world. Knowing this empowers me to make necessary changes to align my energy with love, abundance, and peace. This doesn’t mean that I don’t have challenges, I do. My perspective on my challenges is what I choose to dig into. If I don’t like where my head is going, I know it’s my job to work on that energy to shift it away from fear, lack, and separation. If I’m stuck in the energy of blame, I’m in a unhealthy cycle that projects, reflects, and attracts more situations and people I can use to strengthen that energy, which comes from fear, lack, and separation. If I choose to project the energy of love, abundance, and peace (we have to have inside us in order to project), I attract people and situations that help me to stay aligned with that. It’s so important to pay attention and notice where our energy is going and what we are attracting with it. When we do, it empowers us to take charge of where our energy goes.

Sending prayers out to all of those who have not discovered their power. When you are ready to embrace the energy of love, abundance, and peace on a daily basis your life WILL change. The reality you see will change.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #25

Three conscious breaths is one of the most wonderful and simplest of tools I’ve learned on my journey of aligning my body, mind, and soul with the energy of love, abundance, and peace. I’m so grateful for every time I’m in a stressful situation and I remember to pause and take my three conscious breaths. I’m grateful when I’m experiencing the most amazing moment of AWE, and I remember to take my three conscious breaths. The only way to understand the power of doing this is to do it yourself when you either need space from menacing thoughts or to breathe in a moment you want to hold onto in order to stay present in it. Three conscious breaths gives us space.

The more I learned about what living in the energy of fear, lack, and separation does to me physically, mentally, and emotionally, I have used this tool to help me to shift into the energy of love, abundance, and peace. Sometimes those three breaths are all I need. Other times, there is more work to do and the breaths help me to be brave enough to dive into the work. No matter why I’m taking the three conscious breaths, I’m so grateful that my inner guidance system gives me a warning more often now that I’ve been using this tool for quite some time. Just simply be present with your breath. I breathe in to the count or ten and out to the count of ten three times. As I’ve mentioned in my book and other posts, this is so awesome because you can do it while doing your daily activities to get yourself centered and grounded.

I don’t know about you, but my days can get VERY busy! If I don’t have something on my calendar or on a reminder, I can often let it slip by me. When it comes to the practice of conscious breathing, I’ve used the method of a phone reminder, which just reminds me to breathe at a specific time a day and I use specific daily activities like the bathroom, shower, washing dishes, or walking the dog. Just getting into the habit of using this tool regularly eventually got me to the place where I remember to do it when I’m faced with stressful information, situations, places, things, and people. I also remember to do it while I’m experiencing extreme joy, the AWE. When we stay in our conscious breaths, we are living present, because only in the present moment do they even exist. Daily aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #24

The other day, I walked into my favorite grocery store produce section and was overwhelmed with joy at all the amazing fruits and vegetables. I felt so much gratitude for being able to buy and put such beautiful food in my body. I will tell you that is the first time I’ve EVER had that kind of reaction in a grocery store, I really feel like it’s because of these daily challenges. I’m enjoying EVERYTHING more. The food even tastes better. I’m enjoying cooking new foods and doing things different ways. I’m enjoying reading about all kinds of positive food choices, which is stimulating my mind without even eating anything.

Every time I align my energy with love, abundance, and peace. I’ve noticed I take better care of it inside and out. The best part is, it doesn’t feel forced. I’m not working against myself. I don’t diet, I choose to eat things that are good for my body, mind, and soul. BUT…believe me, when I’m feeling off, I become a junk food junky. It is one of my red flags to myself that something is going on. Today, I know that part of loving and respecting my body is making sure I take good care of my life-long partner. We can work with each other in the energy of love, abundance, and peace or against each other in fear, lack, and separation. I know I’m only ever one thought away, so choosing consciously to align is a powerful commitment, and I know my body has been thanking me for it. It’s operating better, and I’m operating better. Hmmm…funny how that works.

Update on yesterday’s challenge:

I had the opportunity to see how to put my challenge to work. I was negatively triggered by something a loved one said to me. I immediately went to my journal. First, I processed and named what I was feeling. I allowed myself to be in it for a couple pages of writing. Then I looked at what I wrote and came up with ways to look at it from a place of love, abundance, and peace. I was AMAZED how quickly my energy shifted, and I slept great! I woke with no residual story playing in my head. How AWESOME is that?!

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #23

Today, I’m choosing to test some waters. I’ve been doing the daily work staying aligned with love, abundance, and peace for over three weeks now. I’m going to consciously look at when I choose the energy of love, abundance, and peace OVER fear, lack, and separation. When I consciously notice I’ve made the choice, I’m going to stop, breathe, and sit in gratitude for making this empowering choice. We can be in whatever energy we want no matter what is happening around us and no matter what our pasts look like. WE HAVE THE CHOICE. I’m so incredibly grateful for this choice because I’ve seen what it’s like to live in the energy of constant fear, lack, and separation. I didn’t like myself or what I was projecting out in the world. I got back all the energy I put out and it was a VERY painful part of my journey. I’m grateful I realized through a lot of inner work that I don’t have to make that choice. I can’t control what anybody says, thinks, or does. I CAN make CHOICES for myself that will lift my energy to where I want it to be.

Today, I’m choosing to test some waters. I’ve been doing the daily work staying aligned with love, abundance, and peace for over three weeks now. I’m going to consciously look at when I choose the energy of love, abundance, and peace OVER fear, lack, and separation. This doesn’t mean with the stuff that is already aligned with that energy, it means when it’s not. I’m going to look at when I’m watching, listening, reading, and/or encountering people’s words/actions who are projecting the energy of fear, lack, and separation. During those times, I’m going to consciously tap into the energy of love, abundance, and peace inside me and pay close attention to how that choice makes me feel inside and/or how I respond in situations when I’m faced with it. If you join me, I promise you will get lots of chances. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t choose love, abundance, and peace every time. It takes LOTS and LOTS of practice. I’m definitely NOT perfect at it. When you do choose it, consciously take the moment in by taking a deep cleansing breath, sitting in gratitude, and paying close attention to what it feels like in your body. Enjoy the journey!

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #22

The more we are grateful for the person we are created to be, the more we shine out the energy of love, abundance, and peace. YES!!! Loving ourselves means we can love others wholeheartedly and we allow them to love us. We stop attracting people to us that will show us what we don’t like about ourselves, because we no longer can project it out. We project out the love, abundance, and peace within us. People who liked us in our fear, lack, and separation may not like it, but that is their problem. Shine bright my friends.

YES! I love the life I created for myself being who I am. I will write myself a thank you letter for taking such good care of myself, especially in these last 22 days that I’ve been writing and practicing staying aligned with love, abundance, and peace. It may be a dancing day when I put on my favorite 80’s and 90’s alternative music and dance. Life is too short not to enjoy being who we are. PLEASE, do something you love as a commitment to the enjoyment of being you.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #21

The beautiful world of financial abundance! If you are anything like me, I’ve definitely chosen to live in fear, lack, and separation when it comes to finances more than I have chosen to live in love, abundance, and peace. What I’ve learned is that it’s important to focus my energy on what I do have and can do and be grateful for it. If I was supposed to have more money in this very moment, I would have it. Why do I want to waste energy stressing about something that is not my reality in this moment? I can choose to be grateful for the bills I am able to pay, the things I have been able to buy, and any money that is in my bank account. When I do my gratitude list, I started adding at least three things I’m grateful for financially. Doing this helps me to stay in the energy of creating more from a place of love, abundance, and peace.

Today’s challenge is to REALLY pay attention to everything we do financially and be grateful that we can spend whatever we are spending, give whatever we are giving, and save whatever we are saving. Even if we know that we will only have the money in our bank account for a few more days, be grateful that it is there right now. Even if what we can do is buy a pack of gum, give change to the homeless, get a soda, etc. Don’t just think about being grateful, write it down and let’s feel the gratitude. If you want to have some fun, try getting as excited as you would over something that is on your wildest dreams wish list. Hold the energy as long as you can.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #19

In order to align ourselves with love, abundance, and peace we have to stop taking what other people say and do personally. If their energy is aligned with fear, lack, and separation, that is what they will project onto whoever will listen and/or align with their energy. My mom has been telling me, “It’s none of your business what other people think of you” since I was thirteen years old. What people think of us and others is based on what beliefs (perspectives of truth) they are attaching to within themselves and the SAME is true for us. We have choices in how we respond to others through acquiring new ways to look at things and that is something to be VERY grateful for.

I have a choice to internalize what someone says, or I can be grateful that I can come up with other ways to look at it that trigger my compassion. The things I choose don’t have to be true for someone else, I’m only responsible and accountable for how my thoughts make me feel and what energy I project out. If it helps me feel better by not taking it personally and seeing other possibilities that help me to align me with love, abundance, and peace—I’m okay with that. I’m grateful for my choice Not to take others personally by seeing seeing these options in perspectives instead:

  • Others are only every projecting what is inside them.
  • Someone who says hurtful things to others is really saying those things to themselves (They are their own mirror).
  • Some people who are supporting abusive people or are abusive see abuse as normal, so they don’t even see what they or another person are doing doing as abusive. Possibly because they have been abusing themselves on an unconscious level or they have suppressed verbal, mental, emotional or physical abuse from someone else it’s not my job to CHANGE them, just be aware that I don’t have to align or agree with any energy I don’t want to be apart of and make the healthiest choice for me and my energy.

Today’s challenge is one I love doing as I scroll social media looking at posts and comments. I choose to see what anyone is saying and doing as a projection of what is going on inside of them.I love figuring out if a person is coming from a place of love, abundance, and peace OR fear, lack, and separation. Focusing my energy on seeing through this lens also helps me to look at what I’m saying and doing more clearly.

If someone in my family or any of my other relationships interacts with me in any other way than loving, respectful, and considerate, I take my ego out of it (making how they are acting about me), and try to ask questions that help me to see what is going on inside of them. I find questions are so much more productive than any statements I make, not saying I don’t do it sometimes (LOL). I find that making statements doesn’t tend to get me to the heart of the issue, and it also doesn’t help the person I care about figure out why they are projecting their energy of fear, lack, and separation onto me. I really hope you will try today’s challenge and see what a difference it makes in your energy. I get a natural high when I do it, which is how I know my energy is aligned with love, abundance, and peace.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #18

What I’ve realized on my journey of aligning with love, abundance, and peace is that I have to make daily time to take care of me and my energy. If I don’t, I can easily get caught up in what is going on around me. This truly is a daily practice and I feel it when I slip. I used to say, “I struggle with making anything a routine.” Just saying it created a resistance. What I found is that I have to find MY way to make time. Setting alarms on my phone is one of the ways I get my reminders. It also helps me to keep myself accountable. I’m so happy with how well it has worked for me. Where as before, I would just try to slide stuff in, now I have a designated time and I’m finding even if I can’t do it right then because something comes up, I still make time to do it. Now, I really am making space for myself daily to make sure I’m doing things to align my energy with love, abundance, and peace. Some of things include healthy eating, gratitude journal/ journaling, exercise, and meditation. I feel taken care of and I have more energy to put love out into the world.

I know meditation can feel overwhelming to some, but meditation takes a lot of different forms. Don’t feel like there is one right way to meditate, because there is not. Take it from someone who has tried many! I do writing meditations where I play instrumental or chanting meditation music and free write (just write, no correcting and no thinking about what you are writing) for 15 minutes. I’m often amazed at the sage wisdom that comes from those sessions. When I’m struggling I’ve said a prayer than ask for an answer on my nature walk, again some great wisdom comes from being present with nature. I’ve also done all kinds of guided and not guided meditations sitting on my floor or my bed. I also have movement meditations I do. I commit to doing at least one a day for 15 minutes, and I definitely feel more at peace and loving. If we don’t give ourselves a break from the chaos, we become apart of it once again engaging in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. Creating space for self-care reminds us that we have a choice where our energy goes no matter what is happening around us.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #17

A key factor in aligning our energy with love, abundance, and peace is truly appreciating what we already have. Today, my focus is on the people in my life who show up. I feel the tears welling up as I start to think about how truly blessed I am to have so many amazing people in my life. I have people who have never met me showing up to support me in all kinds of ways, and I’ve been blessed to have opportunities to show up for others. I was supposed to be starting my book tour when things started shutting down and I wasn’t alone. I met so many authors on-line who were in the same boat, so we showed up for each other and it was absolutely beautiful. What could have been a very isolating experience wasn’t, because we came together. We have been celebrating each other ever since. I’ve actually met so many people since the pandemic in Zoom sessions and Facebook groups, people I probably would have never thought to connect to if it weren’t for this pandemic. I’ve gotten closer with family members near and far. I’ve also got to spend time with my two teenagers who were usually running around non-stop before the pandemic gave us this time together. Abundance in my relationships is off the charts, and for that I’m so grateful. I am not taking for granted the love that is extended to me and love I am so grateful to give. I’m so grateful to have a partner who despite how far away he is, he knows how to show up daily. I hope you will join me today celebrating the people who show up for you.

In order to create more abundance around our relationships, we have to show appreciation for the people who are already in our lives. If we don’t appreciate the efforts people make, we can easily start living in the energy of lack by focusing our energy on what people aren’t doing or what we wished they would do. I’ve seen this in my own life and other people’s lives. When we focus our energy around fear, lack, and separations in our relationships, we create and maintain cycles of chaos. Even when I was just beginning to find myself near the end of a toxic relationship, I made sure I to write things I was grateful for because it helped me to keep raising my energy to love, abundance, and peace, which is what gave me my strength to leave and permanently shut the door out of love for myself. I didn’t sink to a level that would take me down to create the same pattern with someone else or go back to him. If we want healthier relationships in our lives, this practice is so important! It’s not about what someone else is doing to us. It’s about the energy we are carrying within us—that is what we are responsible for! When our energy is aligned with love, abundance, and peace that is what we attract to our lives. People who aren’t in that energy may distance themselves, leave, or rise-up to meet our energy, but whatever they do is their business. Being responsible and accountable for what we are putting out into the world is our business.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #15

Today, it’s all about the clouds.The clouds offer me so many gifts. I can be kid-like in my fascination with them while looking around for shapes that look like angels, animals, people, and so much more. When I look up at the clouds and just give myself a few seconds to take them in, I recalibrate. When things are really heavy, I will lie down on the grass and look up at the clouds for as long as I need to. I can name a lot more than three reasons I’m grateful for the clouds. I honestly am sitting here smiling writing about it because just thinking of them brings me joy. That is something I’m VERY grateful for.

Today, I’m spending another day centering myself to stay in my peace. I don’t know about where you are, but where I am we have beautiful clouds on any given day. They are just out there waiting to be appreciated. Sometimes I will go outside with my headphones on and sit in the grass. I listen to a song that came out in the the 90’s called “Look Up to the Sky” by THE INDIANS. I sit, listen, and feel. It’s an energy session for me, because I ALWAYS leave feeling empowered. My body, mind, and soul become fully aligned with love, abundance, and peace.

When we feel deep appreciation for things like clouds, we learn to recognize the feeling more easily when relating to people. We start learning that it feels good to be around that kind of energy, and we start attracting more of it. Our energy is going to be aligned with love, abundance (appreciation), and peace or fear, lack, and separation. Part of what these daily practices do are help us to spot the energy consciously. When we can do that, we become empowered to shift, grow, and expand in ways that are so rewarding.
