2024 Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #13

Today’s aligning is all about trees and nature as a whole. In my updated 2020 post, I mentioned getting an important message from a banyan tree. What I didn’t say was at the time of the occurrence, I was in a toxic relationship with a narcissist where I felt like an empty shell. I was fully immersed in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. I spent most days crying and praying for signs and guidance.

I remembered a horticulturist saying to me, if I wanted the tree to spread, I had to thin out the branches up top. On that day, I looked up to see all these dead branches, and felt this drive to get up there. I climbed the banyan tree and started pulling off all the deadweight. That’s when the message you will read below came to me.

Shortly after removing all the deadweight, the banyan tree began to drop air-roots, which is how they spread and crawl. As my trees energy started getting distributed into the right place, so did mine. I began finding my energy to figure out who I was and what I wanted. Within a couple of years, it was time to leave that relationship behind with peace in my heart. Have you ever seen a banyan tree? They are an experience just to see. I posted a video below of one of my favorites to go visit.

Today’s Daily Aligning

Love

These three things about nature fill my heart with love…what are they?

Abundance

Three reasons I’m grateful for trees are…name them out loud and FEEL the gratitude running through you. Where do you feel it in your body?

Peace

Today, I commit to projecting my peace through my love for something in the natural world.

If getting out into nature isn’t an option for you, look at videos and images online. It’s much better than reading about all the things that keep us at war with each other. What we often don’t realize is that by engaging with that energy, we are in it. We are unconsciously contributing to more war when we lose our humanity in the us against them energy. We are actively contributing to separation instead of peace. This whole series is to help people become self-aware about where we are putting our energy. Sometimes in order to break the enmeshment, we have to remove ourselves from it in order to see our part in it. Nature is a great place to get the answers we need to help us. Here an example: on a nature walk, I trip, stumble, and keep walking. Since I’m not injured, the stumble has no effect on my next steps. The message I get is just because I stumble on my path doesn’t mean I should stop moving forward. I don’t even have to take the stumble with me if there is nothing to gain from it. I hope that helps.

The Banyan Tree

Until next time, I wish you love, abundance, and peace.
