I’m grateful for comedy. Laughter IS the best medicine. If I want to stay aligned with love, abundance, and peace…laughter is an essential ingredient. One of my favorite things to watch is stand-up comedy. I not only love to laugh, but I love to hear laughter too. It’s an instant joy rush. Whether it’s live or on TV, I appreciate anything that can make me laugh out loud.

I remember a time in my life when I would go weeks without laughter. Everything felt so heavy and I felt like I was sinking into a dark abyss. It’s painful! My body physically hurts when I’m not getting enough laughter. Finding things that make me laugh is a part of my self-care. I love that laughter is at our fingertips now with technology. We just simply have to type funny videos on YouTube and we will have tons of laugh medicine. I’m definitely grateful for that!

Today, I commit to watching and/or listening to comedy. Have you made yourself a comedy playlist? When I’m having a hard time, I like knowing how to get myself out of it. A comedy playlist on Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon is a helpful tool to keep energy flow where we want it. This journey is meant to be enjoyed. Today, I’m going to laugh as much and as loud as I can.

I’m grateful for funny animal videos. Does this seem a little light for the depths we have been going here? Yes, it is. Today is the day we are lightening it up so we can allow more joy to sink in. When we watch fun animal videos are hearts are taken to a very innocent and open form of joy and love. I’m so grateful for the brain breaks where just pure joy can enter. Living in the energy of love, abundance, and peace is also about embracing the joyful moments as much as we can. Sometimes that means finding them for ourselves. When we don’t complicate it, we see that a simple video can give us just the shift we need to move our energy in the right direction. I’m so incredible grateful for access to laughter with just a fe clicks.

Today, I commit to watching funny animal videos to remind me to LAUGH! Don’t complicate this. It literally only takes a small amount of effort to search for some funny animal videos to make you laugh. Pay attention to your body as you are watching them. Laughter is the best medicine for a reason. Let it work for you. I know I could use some more laughter in my life. This is especially helpful if you have anything creating tension in your body. Free your mind for a little bit and let it out. Don’t hold back your laughter. Feel it move through your diaphragm and burst out of your mouth. Enjoy the smile that stretches across your face. I know I will. In this moment, be light. Enjoy the present moment and let everything else melt away for the length of the video. Then shake it out. Let the experience work through your body by letting your energy move through you. Don’t worry, nobody is watching.

Here is one to get you started. I don’t suggest watching this on a full stomach, LOL.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #11

There is a reason laughter is called one of the BEST medicines. When we appreciate the people, places, and things that make us laugh, we attract more things to laugh about. One of the saddest things I notice when working  with people is how they brush pass their laughter like it’s no big deal. Laughter is a HUGE deal and something to be very grateful for. Find places to laugh in your daily life. I don’t care if it’s people, videos, stand-up, or what. They even have Laughing Yoga. I absolutely LOVE stand-up comedy. For me, it’s not just about the comedian. It’s about the crowd laughing too. I’m so grateful when I find things in my life that make me laugh out loud.

If you are having to be isolated from your friends, you can video chat with them. I’ve had some of the best nights on chats with girlfriends just laughing so hard that not only were tears rolling down my eyes, but my face HURT the next day from smiling so much. If you are joining me on this daily aligning with love, abundance, and peace, think back to the times you have laughed in the last few days. I know even at some of the saddest times in my life, I found moments to laugh. Those moments were so important to me. They helped me feel like I was going to be okay.

Make laughing a priority today! Why not, unless you don’t want to feel better, I guess that would be a good reason LOL. We live in a world FULL of resources. If we are bound and determined to laugh today, we will. I know I will. If you REALLY want to be in the energy of love, abundance, and peace—write it down!! It’s not enough just to think it and crack a grin. Fully embrace, value, and cherish what you are grateful for. We have to give gratitude our full energy or else that energy of lack will find it’s way back in. We have to give that moment of peace acknowledgment when we are laughing, so that we don’t re-align with feelings of separation. Laugh out loud right now until the laugh becomes real because you are laughing at yourself. Love yourself enough to treat yourself with laughter today. You deserve it and so do I!
